As several specialists are involved, treatments are coordinated and consultation times are short.

The different types of pathologies:

  • Paediatric orthopaedic pathologies in everyday life: Postural disorders of the lower limbs in children and adolescents (torsional disorders, genu valgum, flat feet, etc.), limping, gait anomalies in children.

  • Neonatal orthopaedic pathologies: Congenital dislocation of the hip, clubfoot and other foot deformities, congenital malformations of the limbs, obstetric trauma, plagiocephaly, torticollis, etc.

  • Rheumatic pathologies: Juvenile arthritis, recurrent fever, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

  • Spinal deviations: Scoliosis, kyphosis, etc.

  • Traumatic and sports-related pathologies in children and adolescents.

  • Neuro-orthopaedics: Management for disabled children.

The Centre also collaborates with other specialties, such as neuro-paediatrics, genetics and child psychiatry. This multidisciplinary approach guarantees optimal care for our young patients.
